It has been an honor and privilege to work with Professor Phil Low - truly an amazing scientific mind.

Purdue University mourns the loss of Phil Low, drug discovery scholar and decorated innovator, who died Wednesday (March 4) at the age of 78.

"I believe I may have a gift or ability to see strategies that can successfully treat important human diseases, perhaps better than most people,” said Low when looking back on his career. "I also believe that I have – associated with that gift – an obligation to do whatever I can to relieve pain and suffering."
